On the basis on primarily results from the project entitled
‘Telehomecare, chronic patients and the integrated
healthcare system (TELECAT)’ that aims at user-driven
innovation in an inter-organizational context we will raise
a discussion on cross-border inter-operationality of
telehomecare; user-driven innovation as a method that can
create new forms of collaboration; issues concerning
patients’ and relatives’ experiences of self-monitoring and
effective telehomecare. The discussion will focus on three
different scientific traditions: psychology, inter-organisational
theory and clinical practice.
