DEIB Vinnustofa

Forritun og rökhugsun hefur verið skilgreind sem grundvallarþekking á 21 öldinni, ekki aðeins fyrir tölvunarfræðinga heldur fyrir okkur öll. Þessi staðreynd kallar á fjölbreyttari og stærri nemendafjölda í tækninám til þess að geta haldið í við kröfur vinnumarkaðarins. Markhópur vinnustofunar eru þau sem hafa áhuga á hvernig við getum eflt inngildingu á vinnumarkaði. DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) er umfjöllunarefnið og markmiðið með vinnustofunni er að setja saman einföld skref sem fyrirtæki dagsins í dag ættu að geta stigið til þess að auka vellíðan á vinnustaðnum fyrir öll.

Það er frítt inn en allir verða að skrá sig á viðburðinn.

Programming, logic and reasoning have been identified as the fundamental knowledge for the 21st century, not only for computer scientists but for all of us. This fact calls for a more diverse and inclusive group of students in technical studies in order to be able to keep up with the demands of the labor market. The target group of the workshop is those who are interested in how we can strengthen inclusion in the labor market. DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) is the topic and the goal of the workshop is to put together simple steps that today's companies should be able to take to increase well-being in the workplace for everyone.
